Who we are
Gydnz ("Gydnz," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Gydnz website and mobile app (the "Service"), a free senior care placement and guidance service that helps families find assisted living, memory care, and senior care communities. You can reach us at gydnzguidance@gmail.com.
What this policy covers
This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Gydnz app or website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our guided form to request help finding senior care, we collect the contact and care details you provide, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and information about the care you're seeking — such as the type of care (assisted living, memory care, etc.), preferred location or area, budget range, timing, and any notes you choose to share about your situation or your loved one.
You provide this information voluntarily. You don't need to create an account or provide payment information to use Gydnz — the Service is free to families.
Information collected automatically. When you use the app, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the Service, such as device type, app version, general (non-precise) location inferred from your IP address, and basic usage events (for example, that a form was submitted). We do not collect precise GPS location, and we do not use this information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
We do not knowingly collect information from children. Gydnz is intended for adults (caregivers and families) and is not directed to children under 13.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to match you with senior care and assisted living options that fit your needs; have a placement advisor or partner community contact you to help with your search; respond to your questions and provide customer support; send you follow-up messages and relevant updates about your senior care search; and operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
We process your contact details so that we — and the senior care communities or advisors we partner with — can follow up with you about your request. This is the core purpose of Gydnz: connecting you with care providers. If you submit the form, you are asking us to share your request with relevant partners.
How we share your information
- With senior care providers and placement advisors. To help you find care, we share your request and contact details with partner senior living communities and/or placement advisors who can assist you. They may contact you directly by phone, email, or text.
- With service providers who run our tools. We use third-party platforms to manage leads and communicate with you, including HubSpot (customer relationship management) and Brevo (email/marketing communications). These providers process your data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- For legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, Gydnz, or others.
- In a business transfer. If Gydnz is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Because we share your details with partner communities and advisors so they can contact you, some U.S. state privacy laws may treat this as a "sale" or "sharing" for lead-generation purposes. You can opt out at any time (see "Your choices and rights" below).
Communications
If you submit a request, you consent to be contacted by Gydnz and our partners by email, phone, and/or text message at the contact details you provide, including about your senior care search. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing gydnzguidance@gmail.com.
Your choices and rights
Access, correction, deletion. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing gydnzguidance@gmail.com. You can also request deletion directly from us at any time.
Opt out of contact/marketing. Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message, or email us to be removed.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live (for example, California and other U.S. states), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of your information. To exercise these rights, email gydnzguidance@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to help with your senior care search, to provide the Service, and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When it's no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
