How Gydnz works
Choosing senior care for someone you love is one of the hardest decisions a family makes. Here's where our information comes from, how we keep it honest, and why our help is always free to you.
Where our information comes from
The guidance you get from Gydnz is built on information we gather and verify — not guesswork. Three sources inform what we show you:
- Partner details. We collect and confirm key details directly from the senior-living communities and care providers in our network — the care types they offer, services and amenities, room and pricing ranges, and their current licensing.
- Public records. We draw on state licensing and regulatory data — the rules every community is required to follow, which vary by state and by type of care.
- Researched guidance. Our guides and advice are researched and fact-checked, written to reflect current, real-world information for caregivers — not sales copy.
How we vet our network
Before we ever recommend a community or provider to a family, we gather and verify their information. We confirm the care they're licensed to provide, and we keep their details current — so the options we surface are accurate and actually available. If a provider's information or standing changes, we update it.
Our role — guidance, not a care license
Gydnz is an information and referral service. We help families understand their options and connect with senior-care providers — we are not a care provider ourselves. We don't deliver medical or personal care, and we don't own or operate the communities we recommend.
The senior-living communities, memory-care facilities, and home-care agencies in our network are the licensed providers — each is required to hold and maintain the state licenses for the care it delivers. As part of vetting a partner, we confirm that licensing is valid and current, and we re-check it periodically.
Because our service is paid for by participating providers and never by families, we always encourage you to verify any recommendation independently — including a provider's current license and standing with state regulators — before you decide, and we'll point you to where to look. Gydnz provides general information, not medical, legal, or financial advice.
Always free to families — and always objective.
Gydnz is free for families. We're paid a referral fee by a partner community only if a family we introduce chooses to move in — never by the family, ever.
Just as important: that arrangement never decides what we show you. We match families to options based on care needs, budget, location, and timing — not on who pays us more. Our guidance stays independent of any partner.
How we match you
A real guide reviews your situation — the level of care needed, the budget, the preferred area, and the timeline — and shortlists options that genuinely fit. Instead of handing you a long list to sort through alone, we do the legwork and bring you a few real matches. You decide; we help, at your pace.
Reviews & transparency — our standards
As families share their experiences with us, we hold those reviews to clear standards:
- We collect experiences first-hand and confirm them with the person who wrote them.
- We screen out anything submitted by a provider's own staff.
- We protect reviewers' privacy, and we don't edit reviews except to remove personal contact details.
The goal is simple: honest, current information you can actually trust when the stakes are this high.
Our commitments to you
- Independent. Partner communities never influence our guidance or what we surface.
- Accurate. We verify before we recommend, and we keep details current.
- Private. Your information is used to help you and protected — see our Privacy Policy.
- No pressure. Free, no obligation, and always at your pace.
